Giving color to the winter months!

Hi everyone!

How are you? After a lot of days of gray sky, it seems that the weather has finally given us a truce. Although the temperature is not, let’s say, too warm, the sun encourages you to go out and enjoy long walks or pass your time in a terrace with friends.

For these small moments, in which we take advantage of our free time to go out to the street, it’s better to be as comfortable as possible. Of course, according to the low temperatures and, always, following our style!

In today’s look I have included one of the trends of the season, the puffer jacket. It had been seeing in the catwalks for quite some time, although it seemed that it never fully conquered the public. This winter we can say with certainty that it has achieved it, we just have to go out to the street to see it! It’s amazing what fashion does, a garment that was originally intended for the simple act of sheltering from the cold has become a basic of street style. I’m sure that Eddie Bauer, creator of this garment in 1936, never imagined what he was designing.

Versace, Tom Ford, Balenciaga … Almost all the most renowned fashion firms have adapted this garment to their style. An icon of oversize style that has been versioned in very varied ways. We have even been able to see it adapting other trends in boom, such as tartan print or vinyl. In my case, I opted for a puffer jacket in a yellow tone. I already told you in another post how the neon was booming this season, so I think this color is ideal to be able to give life to the whole.

To complete it, high-rise black leather pants and a body of the same color, with transparency details on the shoulders, play a very important role. The black color is always a hit, and more in seasons like the winter in which most of the clothes use  dark tones. Yes, as I said, it’s always a success, but to win you have to take risks! That is why I always like to give a touch of color to my looks, in this case with the puffer jacket. Not everything is white or black when we talk about styles. It’s good to follow the trends, but at the end the true fashion is done by oneself. How? With that personal touch that makes them identify a look like ours. In my case, I usually like to opt for a colorful clothes that contrasts with the rest.

Of course, some sneakers are always the best option in any of our casual looks, I love them! And, of course, some sunglasses that end up giving that chic touch to enjoy these sunny days.

I hope you liked the post and encourage you to use more puffer jackets that, I’m sure, you all have in your closet.

And for you, what is your favorite clothing this winter?

I send you a hug,
